El pasado viernes 30 de junio cerró oficialmente el proceso de registro para participar en la novena edición del concurso 7 Virtual Jazz Club.

Este es el único concurso de jazz en línea en el mundo, y desde que fue fundado en el 2016 por Valerio Pappi y Giorgia Stefania Gabetto, ha estado difundiendo el amor por éste género, con el objetivo de promover actuaciones de alta calidad y el descubrimiento de nuevos talentos, a través de una plataforma virtual.

Ahora viene el trabajo del jurado!!

Los 38 miembros del jurado son divididos en 5 grupos de trabajo para evaluar cada video-ejecución a ellos asignados. Estos videos se asignan a jueces que no pertenezcan al área geográfica del músico a ser evaluado.

Cada uno de los jueces votará aplicando los siguientes criterios:

- creatividad;

- calidad de la improvisación;

- interacción entre los músicos (para actuaciones en grupo).

Los mejores 50 videos (25 para cada categoría) se transmitirán en el sitio web oficial.

The judging process begins for the videos participating in the ninth edition of the 7 Virtual Jazz Club contest

Last Friday, June 30, the registration process to participate in the ninth edition of the 7 Virtual Jazz Club contest officially closed.

This is the only online jazz contest in the world, and since it was founded in 2016 by Valerio Pappi and Giorgia Stefania Gabetto, it has been spreading the love for the genre, with the aim of promoting high-quality performances and discovery. of new talents, through a virtual platform.

Now comes the work of the judges!!

The 38 members of the jury are divided into 5 working groups to evaluate each video-performance assigned to them.

These videos are assigned to judges who do not belong to the geographic area of the musician to be evaluated. Each of the judges will vote applying the following criteria:

- creativity;

- quality of improvisation;

- interaction between the musicians (for group performances).

The best 50 videos (25 for each category) will be streamed on the official website.
